Laser Hair Removal
Put down the razor. Laser targets the pigment inside each follicle, heating it enough to disable it — so hair grows back finer, patchier and slower with every session, until most of it stops coming back at all.
Why People Switch
What laser actually gives you back
The appeal isn't only smooth skin — it's the twenty minutes a day, the razor burn, and the ingrowns you stop dealing with entirely.
Long-term hair reduction
Most people see a noticeable drop in growth after the very first session, and a full course of six to eight treatments — spaced six to eight weeks apart — leaves many areas needing only occasional top-ups.
Far fewer ingrown hairs
Shaving and waxing cut or snap hair so it can curl back under the skin. Laser thins the hair out at the source instead, which is why it's so often recommended for razor bumps on the neck, bikini line and underarms.
Kinder to the skin over time
No wax pulling at the skin, no daily blade dragging across it. Clients with sensitive underarms or a chronically irritated bikini line usually notice the calm before they notice the hair.
Precise, area by area
The beam works on the follicle, not the surface, so it can treat something as small as an upper lip in five minutes or a full body in two hours — and everything in between.
Cheaper than a lifetime of waxing
A course of laser is a one-time spend against decades of waxing appointments and razors. On a VIP unlimited plan, underarms work out to well under twenty dollars a month.
No hiding between sessions
Unlike waxing, you don't have to grow it out to be treated — you shave right up to your appointment. Nobody has to know you're mid-course.
How It Works
Light in, follicle out
Each pulse of laser light is absorbed by the melanin — the dark pigment — sitting inside the hair and its follicle. That energy converts to heat, and the heat damages the follicle's ability to produce a new hair.
The catch is timing. A follicle can only be treated while it's in its active growth phase, and at any given moment only a fraction of your hair is. That's why laser is done as a course rather than a single visit — each session catches a different set of follicles.
-
6–8
Sessions in a typical course
Booked six to eight weeks apart so each visit lands on a fresh growth cycle. Coarser areas may need a couple more.
-
24h
Shave before, not wax
Shave the area the day before. Don't wax, pluck or thread for four weeks beforehand — the laser needs the root still in place.
-
SPF
Sun off, sunscreen on
Avoid sunbeds and deliberate tanning before and between sessions, and keep treated skin covered or protected afterwards.

Before you book
Most people describe it as a warm snap, like a light elastic band flick, and it's over quickly — an upper lip takes about five minutes. Coarser, denser areas such as the bikini line feel it more than arms or legs. Cooling is used throughout, and we'll always start conservatively and build up.
Plan for six to eight, six to eight weeks apart. Hormonal areas — chin, jawline, stomach — sometimes need a few more and occasional maintenance afterwards. You'll get an honest estimate for your hair and skin type at your free consultation rather than a generic number.
The honest answer is "permanent reduction" rather than permanent removal. After a full course most people are left with dramatically less hair — finer, lighter and far slower to return — and many go months or years between top-ups. Hormonal changes can wake up dormant follicles, which is why maintenance sessions exist.
Laser follows pigment, so dark hair responds best — brown and black hair on almost any skin tone. Grey, white, very fine blonde and true red hair have little melanin for the laser to target and respond poorly. We'll tell you straight at the consultation if laser isn't the right tool for your hair, and point you to waxing or threading instead.
Shave the area within 24 hours of your appointment. Stop waxing, plucking and threading that area four weeks before. Skip sunbeds, self-tan and deliberate sun exposure, and come with clean skin — no lotion, deodorant or makeup on the area being treated.
Expect some redness and a warm, slightly puffy feeling around the follicles for a few hours — this is normal. Keep the area cool and moisturised, use sunscreen on exposed skin, and give hot tubs, saunas, heavy workouts and harsh actives a day or two. In the following weeks treated hairs will appear to grow and then shed; that's the follicle letting go, not regrowth.
Laser isn't suitable during pregnancy, over tattoos, or on recently tanned or sunburnt skin. Some medications, skin conditions and recent cosmetic procedures also matter. Bring your full history to the consultation — it's exactly what the free consult is for, and there's no charge for finding out it isn't right for you.
